Some students may feel intimidated by the challenge of drawing people.  Encourage them to start with simple stick people otherwise they may be totally overwhelmed.  This may be an opportune time for a visual arts lesson on body proportions, gesture drawing (sketching a model's pose very quickly) and drawing people using sausage shapes.
